Ref 10749 The Old Store is a detached “upside down” cottage in the High Peak village of Hayfield, near to Buxton. The cottage has two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite) and a twin room, which with the addition of a family bathroom makes it suitable for six people. The first floor at this cottage has a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture. On the edge of the Peak District National Park and the start of the Pennine Way, The Old Store is a superb cottage for an outdoor holiday.

Gas central heating throughout with additional heating from woodburner in sitting room. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine in utility, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, iPod dock, selection of books, games, DVDs and children’s toys. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Off road parking for 1 car, additional roadside parking available. Lockable bike storage. Lawned garden with gravelled patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 3 mins walk. Payment Policy: All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Rules: Changeover Day: 'Fri'.
