SeaWatch B&B rests on the western shore of Halifax Harbor in Ferguson’s Cove across from McNab’s Island overlooking historic Mauger’s Beach Lighthouse.
See the sunrise from your private deck and watch the ships go by, or get close to nature on SeaWatch’s private dock, complete with Tiki Hut. Whales, seabirds, seals, yachts, and ships of all sizes share this spectacular scene.
Minutes by land or water to the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron and other Yacht Clubs, SeaWatch is a 10-minute walk to historic Fort York Redoubt and nature trails. We are just 15 minutes by car from downtown Halifax and 45 minutes from Halifax Robert L. Stanfield International Airport.
SeaWatch offers two private suites, each featuring unique nautical decor, private entrance, deck, en suite bath and kitchenette. Breakfast is served in your suite or on deck.
Our Rooms :
The Ships Wheel Suite - It is located on the upper deck, with one Queen-size bed plus a double sofa-bed. The Captain's Quarters Suite - It is located on the lower deck, with one Double-size bed plus a double sofa-bed.
Each Suite features - private bath, private entrance, deck, TV/DVD, free wireless internet, kitchenette, breakfast served in suite or on deck with panoramic view of Hfx Harbor where whales are often seen.
Local Events :
International Fleet Review Week : An International Fleet Review Week will take place in Halifax during the period 28 June – 02 July 2010. Approximately 22 foreign ships will be visiting Halifax and it is anticipated that many of these ships will be open to visitors throughout the week. It is expected that more than 5,000 sailors will take advantage of some good old maritime hospitality during their visit. Halifax will definitely be the “place to be” in the Summer of 2010. - Extra person or sofa-bed add $15.00.
- A visa or master card is needed to guarantee reservation.
- No Show: If you fail to show up to occupy a reserved room on your scheduled arrival date, then the reservation becomes void for the remaining nights that have been reserved, and any room/nights that we are unable to re-book become due and payable.
- ANY changes to a reservation will be confirmed by us in writing (e.mail, fax or regular mail). If you make a change to a reservation and do not receive a revised confirmation, you must notify us before the date of your scheduled arrival. Cancellation Policy:
- 7 days, There will be a $25 service fee charged for each room booked that is canceled at any time no matter how much notice is given. This service fee is also applied if the reservation is shortened at any time. Rules:
