Stone Cottage : Wonderful Spacious Cottage Near Lake Stone Cottage is a stunning post and beam four bedroom cottage on beautiful Georgian Bay, approximately twenty minutes from Parry Sound. The large level lot with 780 feet of shoreline offers privacy, lots of room for children to play, and gentle rock formations sloping to the water. The open-concept main floor with cathedral ceilings has a very comfortable living room with seating for six people, and a wood-burning fireplace.

There are wood floors throughout, stunning views of the water, and the fully equipped kitchen has a large island, complete with four bar stools. The adjacent dining area with seating for eight has easy access to enjoy the outdoors by stepping out onto the deck through sliding glass doors.

A hallway from the kitchen leads to two bedrooms. The first has a queen size bed and access to a deck with spectacular views of the water. The second bedroom has three single beds. A full bathroom, with two sinks, and a laundry room complete the main floor.

The upper level features the master bedroom, with a queen size bed, and a couch for curling up and enjoying a book or magazine. The other bedroom offers a queen size bed as well as a single day bed. The bedrooms are divided by a family room that features a television with DVD player and VCR for unwinding at the end of a memory-packed day. Off to one side of the family room is a card table, great for a challenging card game. Also on this level is a lovely cozy nook, the ideal spot for a quiet conversation.

A large wrap-around covered deck has a bistro table for a morning cup of coffee, or an evening drink. Muskoka chairs are also available for relaxing in. The picnic table located close by is great for dining al fresco. Outside, the Stone Cottage offers many long beautiful rock formations which edge the property, offering shallow entry for the little ones in the group (we would recommend watershoes). On the way to the dock, you cross a large level.
