A 4 Bedroom Farmhouse with Shared, Heated Pool Close to River This house is the original farmhouse and is situated next to, but visually separated from Le Poirier. With it's spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished accommodation, it makes an ideal house to share a holiday with family or friends. The property can also be booked with the other properties on the site to provide accommodation for a larger group.

The property is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, classed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The village of Le Thoureil, only a few minutes away and on the river is renowned as one of the jewels of the Loire villages. It has a café with large terrace facing the river and a Restaurant.

The property boasts four bedrooms in total, two are on the first floor one has two double beds and the other a double and a single, both of these rooms are en suite.There are two further bedrooms are downstairs, one with double and one with a 4 ft bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom (shower, bath, toilet and basin).

The Kitchen is fully equipped and has a small table and chairs. The dining room is a lovely large room and has a table and chairs large enough to seat everyone. There is a large tuffeau stone fireplace. The sitting room is also a large attractive room with a Tuffeau stone fireplace and wood burning fire. There are comfortable sofa's ( one is a sofa bed ) and armchairs. I pod doking station.

Outside there is a huge decked area which continues around the side of the property (west facing side) whilst the main area has a south facing aspect. There is a barbecue, wooden garden furniture and a large sun shaded area. Bed linen and towels, except pool towels ,are provided. Clean bed linen is offered for subsequent weeks. There is plenty to do and see in the area, should you wish to, including many charming towns and villages as well as an astonishing variety of the regions historical and cutural heritage eg Chateaux and monuments.

There are vineyards galore to visit, many excellent Restaurants, local markets and several Golf courses. We are more than happy to reserve Golf and Restaurants for you. Although quietly situated the property is by no means isolated and has good access to explore. If you want a more quiet time walking and cycling are a joy.
