Balcarres Self Catering Bed & Breakfasst Accommodation Welcome to Balcarres in Fort William - the perfect choice for self-catering holiday accommodation.

Our two self-catering apartments, Birch and Rowan each comprise of a double-bedded room with ensuite toilet and shower, a fully fitted modern kitchenette, and a spacious lounge in which to relax. Both apartments have televisions.

The lounge to Birch has quite stunning views overlooking Loch Linnhe, as does both bedroom and lounge in Rowan. Each apartment is furnished to a high standard with a bright and modern decor.

Standing at the foot of Ben Nevis, Fort William is itself an ideal base for your holiday touring the magnificent west Highlands of Scotland. It is within easy reach of Oban, Inverness, Loch Ness, Skye, Mallaig and the Road to the Isles, and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula - all of which wonderful day trip destinations.

Balcarres self catering apartments are located in the Highland town of Fort William. They command an ideal position with beautiful views over Loch Linnhe and the mountains beyond, while still being only fifteen minutes' walk from the town centre. Fort William itself sits at the foot of Ben Nevis, and is an ideal base for visiting the north west of Scotland, being within easy reach of Glencoe, Oban, Inverness, and Mallaig with the ferry to Skye and the Hebrides. During the summer, the Jacobite steam train runs between Fort William and Mallaig, and is a treat not to be missed.

Balcarres is set in an elevated position in a quiet cul-de-sac. The view on the above header is what we see - spectacular views over Loch Linnhe and the Morven hills. Ample safe car parking means that you can confidently leave the car behind at the accommodation and walk into Fort William town centre, just a pleasant 15 minutes' stroll along the side of Loch Linnhe. We welcome guests from 4pm onwards, earlier arrival times by arrangement. Car hire is available at both airports.
