We offer 2 guest rooms in our cozy and warm Alaskan home. Each is tastefully decorated creating a relaxing atmosphere, a family setting with all the comforts of home.

ROOM 1 - A peaceful, cozy corner room with a queen sized bed, but does have plenty of space to add a roll away. Located within the main living area. It has cable TV and shares a bath with room #2.

ROOM 2 - A warm and cozy room that feels the warmth of the afternoon sun. In the main living area, there is a queen size bed and is spacious enough to add a roll away if needed. It has cable TV and shares a bath with room #1.

Studio - Private entrance and bathroom. Full size futon bed and king size bed (or 2 twins). Kitchenette, cable TV, laundry facilities, continental breakfast, patio area.

The Downtown Log Cabin Hideaway is located within walking distance of downtown restaurants, movie theaters, Pioneer Park, and Visitors center. We have two great rooms with shared bath and a loft which is a great place for the kids to play, sleep, and watch TV. We also have a cute studio apartment with a private bath, kitchenette, and a patio.

Hosts Allen and Verna: are both retired teachers. We have lived in the Fairbanks community since 1975. Allen worked on the pipeline during the construction and has many stories to share. Verna cooks great, all-you-can-eat in breakfast. We love to visit and brag about Alaska. We can help plan and suggest some of the sites in the area for your day of sightseeing.
