Detached traditional 400 year old farmhouse restored to high standard and providing comfortable holiday accommodation. The original features of this character property have been retained but complemented by modern amenities and double glazing. The private pool has an electric high sliding cover for longer swimming season. The pool is set in a partially enclosed garden and offers outdoor furniture and parasol. Barbecues can be lit in the old bread oven next to the furnished terrace.
Ground floor: Living/dining room with open fireplace, TV and door to parking area. Kitchen corner with door to covered terrace. Two double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with basin and separate WC. Shower room and a second separate WC. Original wooden open-tread stairs lead to mezzanine area with 2 single beds. The mezzanine does not overlook a room.
Set in a rural hamlet of five houses on what used to be a working farm estate with enclosed duck pond, views over fields & vineyards and surrounded by the Double Forest where you will find walking and cycling trails. Bergerac is 60kms to the south east - old town centre with cobbled streets; boat cruises on the Dordogne River. Ribérac, 17kms north is a lively market town with bars, restaurants, canoeing/kayaking on the Dronne River and all facilities. There are several open-air local markets where you can sample the local specialties such as walnuts, truffles and the fine wines. In the local area you will find horse-riding, fishing, activity lake, way-marked trails, golf and tennis.
Property can be booked for 4, 7, 11 or 14 night stays (7 & 14 nights only in July & August).

Payment Policy:
Rates are in Euros. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a booking we will charge the cancellation fee set out below. The percentage of the Rental Price we charge as a cancellation fee will depend on the time left before your rental is due to start.(a) If we receive your cancellation 43 or more days (six weeks plus one day or more) before you are due to arrive, you will lose your Booking Deposit of 30% of the rental price. (b) If we receive your cancellation on any day between the 42nd day (six weeks) before the date you are due to arrive and the 29th day (four weeks plus one day) before the date you are due to arrive you will lose 50% (half) of the Rental Price. (c) If we receive your cancellation on any day including or after the 28th day before your arrival date, then you will lose 100% (all) of the Rental Price. Rules: Rates are subjected to change without prior notice.
If you make your reservation at least six weeks before the rental period begins a Booking Deposit of 30% of the total rental cost is due at the time of the booking. The balance of the Rental Price is due no later than six weeks before the rental period begins. If we do not receive the balance of the Rental Price by that time, we will assume you have cancelled your booking. We are entitled to relet the property to other customers without contacting you again. If you reserve the property less than six weeks before the date you are due to arrive, you must pay the Rental Price in full when you make the booking.
