New villa with pool and stunning views Located in the pretty, medieval wine producing village of Durban-Corbieres, this modern detached villa with pool is the perfect place for family holidays. The property is situated on the edge of the village and has three large bedrooms, two with double beds, and one with bunk beds for the children, plus a bed settee in the lounge and can sleep a total of eight. There is a comfortable lounge with French TV and stereo CD player with French windows that open onto the sunny south facing garden. A large open plan kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Two bathrooms, one with bath one with shower, two WCs. Outside the kitchen is a sunny terrace with BBQ and furniture and beyond the 8m x 4m pool. Sunbeds, umbrella etc are provided. From the terrace there are wonderful views of the 12 century chateau, floodlit at night, a beautiful sight while enjoying a glass of wine. Durban is a popular village in the heart of the stunning southern Corbieres, surrounded by spectacular scenery, ideal for walking and cycling through the vineyards. The village has everything you need; supermarket, bar/cafe, restaurant, bakery, bank, petrol station, open air pool, tennis courts, weekly markets and many open air concerts during the summer months. It is only 25 minutes to the Mediterranean beaches at Leucate or Le Franqui with beautiful, clean sandy beaches and safe bathing for the children.
