A 200 Year Old Farmhouse is Typically Breton Being of Granite Construction The 200 year old farmhouse is typically Breton being of granite construction with wooden shuttered windows. Entry to the elevated location is via a drive and there is parking for several cars. The acre of garden is laid to lawn. The house has six delightfully appointed French styled bedrooms including a new family room with its own modern en suite shower/WC. There are a further shower room, bathroom and two WCs.

The house is entered via a hallway which leads to the left to a large luxuriously appointed kitchen with electric oven, hob, sink, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, microwave cooker and all the usual modern electrical appliances. All essential cooking items are to hand and there is breakfast seating for six people. From the hallway is a second bathroom with sink, bidet and bath with shower attachment. There is also a second separate downstairs WC. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room if required.

To the right from the entrance hall, French doors lead to the lounge/dining area (la grande salle). This large room (50m2) has amazing exposed stone walls and beamed ceiling creating the perfect setting for the log fire housed within an large beamed inglenook. There is a comfortable three piece suite, television with English Free Sat TV plus DVD and video players. An imposing traditional French style dresser, table and ten chairs complete the dining area. For evenings and wet days there is a selection of traditional board games for all ages.

The staircase leads to the bedroom one which has traditional Breton furniture with a Louis XIV style double bed, mirrored wardrobe, bedside cabinets and lights. The light and airy room boasts distressed cream coloured furniture created by the artist owners. The second bedroom also decorated in French style with carved double bed with exotic drapery over and matching wardrobe and bedside cabinet.
