Stunning Holiday Rental is Situated in Dartmouth Hawke offers guests the perfect, weatherproof English holiday. Situated within the grounds of the prestigious Dartmouth Golf and Country Club. Yet, only 4 miles from Dartmouth, within close proximity of Salcombe and Totnes, near to an outstanding picturesque coastline, fantastic beaches, the unspoiled wilds of Dartmoor National Park, and Woodlands Leisure Park only half a mile away. Just a 15 minute drive takes you to the nearest beach, the award winning Blackpool Sands.
The golf course offers two exceptional courses; the 18 hole Championship course was selected by “Golf Monthly” as one of the top 80 golf courses in Great Britain and Ireland. For your use are also, Lakeside Health and Leisure Club, a tennis court, bar and bistro. Guests of Hawke have free use of the Leisure Club’s indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. They also have free use of the tennis court and up to 50% off green fees for up to 2 guests. Hawke is a sympathetically restored, fully thatched stone cottage. It nestles between two properties and has recently been completely renovated and refurbished to an extremely high standard. The rear of the property affords magnificent views of the golf course and surrounding countryside.
Accommodation: Entrance into hall way with oak flooring, cloakroom with WC and basin, three steps lead down into the open plan living area. The lounge dining area has oak flooring, 2 sets of French windows, one of which gives access to the garden. Comfy sofas, coffee table, flat screen TV with free view and DVD, dining table and chairs. The kitchen area is separated by a breakfast bar with 2 stools, sleek white gloss units with granite tops, all Neff appliances: stainless steel electric hob and double oven, microwave and integrated washer/dryer, fridge and freezer and slate tiled floor.
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms with high ceilings open into the eaves exposing white washed timber frames. The master double bedroom has an en suite bathroom with travertine wall and floor tiles, bath with shower over, WC and basin, chrome heated towel rail. Twin bedroom with ensuite wet room with travertine wall and floor tiles, shower, WC and basin. There is a wardrobe on the landing. Outside there is a private garden with panoramic rural views, stone paved patio with garden furniture and lawn. Hawke offers a warm and comfortable holiday, whatever the season. Payment Policy:
All rates are in pound sterling.
A provisional booking can be accepted by telephone and must be confirmed within 7 days by the arrival of a booking form and the required deposit plus booking fee of £10. Provisional reservations will be cancelled after 7 days without further reference. All parts of the booking form must be completed including all guests names. No more than the number of persons shown in the brochure and included on the booking form may occupy a property. For bookings made more than 6 weeks before your holiday a deposit of one third of the holiday price and booking fee of £10 is required. Balance of payment must be sent 6 weeks prior to holiday. Reminders are not sent out and the booking is deemed to be cancelled if the balance is not paid by the specific date. For bookings made less than 6 weeks before your holiday the total amount and booking fee of £10 is required. Cancellation Policy:
In the event of the applicant wishing to cancel the arrangements prior to the commencement of the letting and for the reasons not covered by your cancellation policy, the balance will still be due, and upon notifying the office in writing, we shall endeavour to re-let the property for the period concerned or for such part thereof as may prove possible. If such re-letting can be arranged, the Balance, if already paid, will be refunded less a charge for any additional expenses. The deposit will not be refunded. Rules:
