A Perfect Romantic Getaway in Kingswear Below Decks is a spacious, stylish apartment situated on the edge of Kingswear overlooking Waterhead Creek, the river Dart and Dartmouth. Within walking distance to the passenger ferry across to Dartmouth, with a fabulous variety of places to eat and a good selection of individual lifestyle shops and galleries. Kingswear village has a choice of pubs and an excellent village shop. From here there are good public transport links either by bus, boat or the heritage steam railway. The National Trust properties of Greenway House and Coleton Fishacre are close by and for walkers can be reached by the coast path or the Dart Valley Trail. The closest sandy beaches within a short drive are Broadsands and Goodrington.
Below Decks is accessed via a flight of steps from the roadside down to the patio which runs along the length of the property. The entrance leads into the conservatory with river and woodland views, furnished with table and chairs. Doorway into the sitting room with comfy furniture and side tables, TV with DVD and video (extensive collection of videos and DVDs), CD radio with ipod docking station, feature fireplace with electric fire. Arched entrance from the sitting room into the kitchen diner which has beech units and integrated fridge/freezer, dish washer, washer/dryer, electric oven and halogen hob and microwave. Dining table and chairs. Master bedroom with a kingsize bed, two large arched windows and an en suite shower room with large shower cubicle, basin and WC, heated towel rail.
Double bedroom with 4’6” bed and a third bedroom with twin beds. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and attractive plantation shutters. The family bathroom is fully tiled and has a shower over the bath, WC and basin and heated towel rail. Outside accessed from the conservatory there is a large sun terrace with terracotta tiles and garden furniture and lovely river views. From here there is a spiral staircase to the elevated parking space. There is an enclosed garden with lawn and shrubbery reached by a flight of steps from the patio. Payment Policy:
All rates are in Pound Sterling.
A provisional booking can be accepted by telephone and must be confirmed within 7 days by the arrival of a booking form and the required deposit plus booking fee of £10. Provisional reservations will be cancelled after 7 days without further reference. All parts of the booking form must be completed including all guests names. No more than the number of persons shown in the brochure and included on the booking form may occupy a property. For bookings made more than 6 weeks before your holiday a deposit of one third of the holiday price and booking fee of £10 is required. Balance of payment must be sent 6 weeks prior to holiday. Reminders are not sent out and the booking is deemed to be cancelled if the balance is not paid by the specific date. For bookings made less than 6 weeks before your holiday the total amount and booking fee of £10 is required. Cancellation Policy:
In the event of the applicant wishing to cancel the arrangements prior to the commencement of the letting and for the reasons not covered by your cancellation policy, the balance will still be due, and upon notifying the office in writing, we shall endeavour to re-let the property for the period concerned or for such part thereof as may prove possible. If such re-letting can be arranged, the Balance, if already paid, will be refunded less a charge for any additional expenses. The deposit will not be refunded. Rules:
