A Traditional Bastide Farmhouse in a Rural Location Le Claouset is a fully restored fortified farmhouse built around a central courtyard. It has been modernized to retain much of the traditional character whilst giving the usual requirements of modern living. All the rooms are large and airy, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge has TV etc. Private pool and gardens, barbecue.
Living room is a large and airy room with 2 windows to the front looking down the valley and two windows to the rear overlooking the courtyard. With wooden floors and exposed beams it has real character. Kitchen with direct entrance from the courtyard. It is well equipped in traditional style and has an eating area within the kitchen. Master bed room, with fantastic beams and stonework, en suite bathroom. There is a spare single bed in this room. Double room with spare single bed if required, wooden floors and pretty decoration. En suite bathroom.
We are ideally placed to explore the famous bastide towns including Cordes sur Ciel, Albi which has recently been designated a UNESCO site and houses the Toulouse Lautrec museum is close by. Local vineyards and markets abound in the area. We are able to arrange guided walks to explore the local countryside. Rodez airport is 1 hour drive away. Again there is a train service between Rodez and Carmaux.

Our prices are in pounds sterling but we will accept payment in Euros.
We ask for a 20% deposit to confirm your booking and the remainder is due 6 weeks before your holiday commences.
Please contact us for the cost of shorter breaks in low season. Cancellation Policy: The deposit is non refundable and we suggest that you take out holiday insurance to cover cancellation at very short notice i.e after the balance has been paid as we will only refund the balance if we are able to re let the property for that period. Rules: Rates are subjected to change without prior notice.
Well behaved pets and owners are made most welcome!
The pool is alarmed for the safety of our younger guests but nothing replaces the vigilance of parents.
