Beautiful, Large, Country 17th C Manor House, Extensive Gardens, Close to Beach Beautiful, large 17thC villa-manor house, very comfortable and elegant, recently fully renovated to provide an unforgettable summer holiday rental on the green northern coast of Spain. The estate includes a vast park and gardens and a lovely little chapel. The big, beautifully decorated living room with fireplace and the dining room for twelve will provide the perfect setting for a gathering of family or friends.
There are five spacious bedrooms as well as a study, TV room, small dining and several terraces, balconies and patios to enjoy the lovely views of green hills and fields with horses grazing nearby. A stream flows at the edge of the property where locals sometimes fish trout. This secluded village has one tiny café to try local sherry and “serrano” ham, yet shops and restaurants with excellent seafood and meats and are less than 1km.away. Beautiful beaches are a 10 min drive away as are picturesque villages. Hike on ancient Roman Road in nearby hills, climb in Picos mountains.
The beautiful beaches, Oyambre and Gerra (great surfing!) are a 10 min drive away as are the picturesque villages of Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera and Santillana. You may hike on the ancient Roman Road in nearby green hills , climb in Picos mountains, kiyak or fish in Sella or Deva rivers. Browse the markets for the freshest produce, local cheeses and cured hams, sausages. There are wonderful little restaurants in the region noted for the excellent seafood and meats. Explore prehistoric caves with wall paintings. The young people will love the superb aquarium in Santander or the nearby safari park. There is a wonderful golf course in Santa Marina and in Oyambre.The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is a 45 min. drive away. Or just relax and sip a local sherry in the little cafe in our own village, Hualle. 50% of rental fee is expected at time of booking.
The remaining full payment is expected 30 days before occupation of the house.
Cancellation Policy: If tenants are unable to occupy the Palacio de Hualle for the period stated and wish to cancel the reservation, the initial deposit will be returned if the cancelation occurs up to two months prior to the period reserved.
If the tenant must cancel the booking once the full payment has been made, any deposits will be applied to a comparable rental period the subsequent year, or any other available period the tenant wishes.
