Cavalaire sur Mer is located on the D555, at the entrance to the south side of the Gulf of St Tropez. Between Le Lavandou (20 km) and Ste Maxime (23 km). On the most southern bay of the Var Department. The magnificent beach that stretches over 3 km and the Pradels mountain chains are trully worth seeing. Cavalaire is the perfect place for watersport lovers – sailing, scuba diving, jet skiing as well as fishing and tennis. Ramatuelle. 14 km. Idyllic hilltop village with popular street markets. Also famous for its jazz and theatre festivals held in July and August.
Port Grimaud. 15 km. Charming Venetian-style and traffic-free village with pretty waterways and numerous moorings for sophisticated yachts.
St Tropez. 20 km. Authentic fishing village but also trendy and glamorous seaside resort and favourite holiday spot for the rich and famous. Fantastic night life, exquisite restaurants, chic boutiques, delightful old quarters, glorious beaches including the mythic 5 km-long Plage de Pampelonne.

Eau Bleue Plongée, Cavalaire. 3 km. Diving. On board a comfortable boat, a guide will take you to discover the most beautiful underwater world between St Tropez and the Iles d''Or. Cavalaire is often considered as the 2nd best diving centre on the Mediterranean after Marseille.
Azur Park, Gassin. 15 km. Theme park. Over 28 exciting rides for the young and not so young, a tropical mini golf taking you on a trip in the land of dinosaurs!
Niagara, La Môle. 20 km. Waterpark. Situated on the side of a hill, amidst oak trees, this waterpark includes 7 giant waterslides, several swimming pools, a fitness area and a climbing wall. A paradise for the children and for the grown-ups alike who will also enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi.
Golf de Ste Maxime, Ste Maxime. 25 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 6130m. Facing the gulf of St Tropez in undulating countryside and with several greens overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Ste Maxime golf course is a spectacular and technical course.

Bormes les Mimosas. 25 km. Beautiful and picturesque medieval village set in the hills above the coast.
Iles d''Hyères. 35 km. Group of islands off the coast from Hyères, which includes the islands of Porquerolles, Le Levant and Port Cros (National Park). The 3 car-free islands together form a rare and beautiful environment, one of the loveliest in France. Boat crossings from Hyères, Giens peninsula, Le Lavandou, Toulon.
Fréjus. 45 km. Seaside resort, ancient military port and Roman city, with a rich and impressive historical and architectural heritage. Some stunning scattered Roman remains can still be seen including one of the largest amphitheatres from Gallic times and a Roman theatre still in use for summer events.
