We have carried out a complete renovation and are thrilled to have opened Casa Fajara as a year round venue. Perfect for nature lovers who value tradition, comfort, and style, Fajara has been restored to provide a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway which boasts a pleasant and informal atmosphere.
Comfortable, spacious and individually decorated; Our rooms are equipped to the highest standards whilst having a distinct sense of traditional charm. Our boutique hotel has a unique blend of authentic local character combined with up-to-the-minute facilities.
Many rooms are equipped with a flats-screen TV with international channels as well as telephone and internet access. All have en-suite bathrooms are provided with hairdryers and a selection of toiletries.
For those wishing to do no more than soak up the warm Portuguese sun, marvel at the gorgeous views and enjoy the tranquil setting, Casa Fajara spacious grounds offer a tranquil setting where guests can relax in complete peace.

Book 4 mid-week nights in one of our standard rooms (Sunday to Thursday) and only pay for 3. That´s one night totally FREE!!
A deposit of 50% is required and until it is received the booking is not confirmed. By paying this you are entering into a contract with us and accepting these terms and conditions. The same applies when you supply credit or debit card information. Payment of your deposit by bank transfer should be made in good time for clearance and must have cleared our account before your arrival.
If you book 4 or more rooms at the same time it will be classed as a “Multiple Booking”. If you request a Multiple Booking we will require a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total price of your accommodation at the time of booking. Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your booking, you must do so in writing to info@casafajara.com and receive a response from us by email confirming that your cancellation request has been received and the cancellation charges shown below will apply.
The following percentages (of total booking value) are payable upon cancellation of your booking:
Before 12 weeks of the arrival date: 10%
Between 12 & 6 weeks of arrival date: 20%
Between 6 weeks and 2 weeks of arrival date: 50%
Less than 2 weeks before the arrival date: 80%
No shows: 100%
If your booking is for more than one night and during your stay you shorten your booking, you will be charged 80% (as per cancellation charges above)for the remaining nights of your booking.
If you do not check-in we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to retain or claim payment for 100% of the value of your reservation.
Any booking fees or credit card charges are non-refundable. Rules: Rates are subjected to change without prior notice.
On your reservation request we will specify whether your rate includes any meals.
Each of our rooms is unique and as a result they may vary in character, size and in the number of guests that can be accommodated. It is your responsibility to verify the details of a room when you request a reservation to ensure that it meets your requirements.
Subject to availability extra folding beds and/or cots may be provided at an extra charge. Children under 12 @ 20€ per night (Children over 12 and Adults are charged at 25€ per night). These prices include breakfast. You must specify this requirement when you request a booking.
Casa Fajara is strictly non-smoking. This policy includes all rooms. In the event you or any member of your party smoke anywhere in the hotel, including your room, we reserve the right to charge you 50€ for specialist cleaning.
