The Lookout : With Birds Eye View of the Beautiful St. Joe Bay The LOOKOUT sits up tall giving you a birds eye view of the beautiful St. Joe Bay. It is a one bedroom suite with a queen size bed. One bath. Sitting area with two over sized comfy chairs with ottomans and cable TV. Kitchen has fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans. Their is a screened porch and sun deck with the best view of the bay and the old Salt Pond, with beautiful sunrises to wake up to. It too, has an outside hot and cold shower.
Located on the shores of St. Joseph Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, at Cape San Blas,the Old Saltworks Cabins are an ideal vacation destination offering kayaking, canoeing, surf-fishing, birding, swimming, beach walking, shell collecting, nature photography and a variety of other outdoor adventures.
Nature trails, a play fort for the kids, and mini-museum are provided for the exclusive use of our cabin guests. You can explore the pristine waters of St. Joseph Bay and enjoy the beach on the Gulf of Mexico at Cape San Blas.
Although the Saltworks was destroyed on that fateful day in 1862, the site has been reborn for the enjoyment of those who come to discover the Old Saltworks Cabins. This special hide-a-way preserves the beauty and quiet solitude that makes this area so special. Payment Policy: All Rates are in US Dollars We accept Visa, MasterCard, and personal checks. We ask for 1/3 deposit at the time of reservation and the balance is due prior to arrival. A 11% Florida Sales Tax (7% Sales tax and 4% Bed Tax) and a $40 reservation fee will be added to the rental rate. There is a $50 pet fee if applicable. Cancellation Policy: If you should have to cancel your reservations, please contact us immediately. Rules: Rates are subjected to change without prior notice. Less than a week stays available.
