Getting there
Cagnes sur Mer – amongst the hillsides in they heart of the Côte d’Azur - is a charming family resort with its fishing port, Renoir museum, château and medieval old town. Brilliantly situated for access to the most visited sites on the Mediterraenan.
Only 12 km from Nice and the airport, 10 km from Antibes - with its attraction parks including Marineland - and Vence, 25 km from glitzy Cannes and 35 km from Grasse – the city of perfume.
Environment : Comfortable, 1st floor apartment, in pretty residence with shared pool. Quiet green setting.
PLACES TO VISIT:
St Paul de Vence. 10 km. One of the most beautiful and most visited villages in France which has attracted many artists due to its great natural beauty. Also home to Fondation Maeght, FranceÂ’s most important modern art museum with a remarkable collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and other graphic works from the 20th century.
Biot. 10 km. Beautiful and picturesque little village best known for its glassware.
Nice. 12 km. Fashionable and unmissable seaside resort with its wonderful “Promenade des Anglais”, a long boulevard along the seaside dotted with palm trees, its old town with pretty colourful architecture and narrow streets. Take a stroll along the flower market in the “Cours Saleya”, restaurants serving Mediterranean and sea food and bars. Nice is cool in winter and hot in summer!!!
Tourrettes sur Loup. 15 km. Charming hill top medieval village known as the Violet village and surrounded by superb landscapes. Well worth a detour.

Antibes Land, Antibes. 10 km. Theme park. Many thrilling rides! Over 30 attractions and international side shows for both children and grown ups.
MarineLand, Antibes. 10 km. Aquarium. The greatest marine show in Europe with dolphins, orcas, killer whales and seals. Also aquariums and a 30m-long tunnel surrounded by sharks!
Canyon Forest, Villeneuve Loubet. 7 km. Tree top adventure park/Canyoning. Acrobatic adventure park for the young (8 yrs old+) and not so young. Discover at your own pace the 4 trails on offer after an enjoyable 10mn bike ride along a river. Going from tree to tree, balance yourself through an assortment of games such as rope bridges, tarzan swings and giant zip lines, including for the bravest, the longest zip line in France (331m) where you can expect to reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h! Canyoning also available. For the little ones, Pitchoun Forest is a more accessible course for children aged 3 to 10. Larger, more secure and more amusing with an easier access.
Golf de Biot, Biot. 10 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 67 - 4511m. Pleasant course with narrow and short fairways and a beautiful panorama over the village of Biot. Ideal for beginners.

Cannes. 25 km. Beachside resort with its large promenade, chic boutiques, restaurants, bars, shops and festivals including the famous Cannes film festival in May each year. A walk along the “Croisette”, harbour and sandy beaches is a must.
Monaco. 30 km. One of the most famous and glamorous cities in the world with its casino at Monte Carlo, F1 Grand Prix each May, tennis tournament and of course its incredible nightlife.
Grasse. 35 km. Fascinating historic town and world''s perfume capital. Explore the delightful narrow streets or go on one of the factory tours offered by some of the most famous perfume houses.
Ventimiglia. 55 km. Just across the Italian border, with wonderful views and beaches, and famous for its wonderful covered daily market with a staggering array of fruit, vegetable, fish, meat, cheese and of course pasta! On Friday mornings, it also holds the largest street market in Europe! Quite an experience!
