Luxury Without Extravagence and Privacy Without Confinement. Whether your ideal is a lazy indoor weekend or an adventurous getaway, Yalgorup Country Lodge offers luxury without extravagance and privacy without confinement. A federation style country home, complete with high ceilings and columns, furnished with Australian, English and French antiques, Yalgorup has the charm of those bygone days. Landscaped gardens surround the house nestled on the edge of Yalgorup National Park.
Relax in style amid your tastefully decorated retreat. Yalgorup Country Lodge has five luxury queen rooms and one beautiful double room each with their own private en-suite and garden views. An extra bed is available in some rooms. Each room includes:- TV, radio, beverage facilities, fridge, hairdryer, electric, blankets, ceiling fans (some are air cooled), garden views.
The hexagonal shaped lounge is where guests can relax, read a book from the library, or make friends with fellow guests. The room overlooks the garden and is complete with an open fireplace, making it very cosy during those cold winter evenings. Or for those summer days and nights, enjoy a refreshing dip in the heated pool or spa, or make use of our barbecue facilities in our extensive gardens amid the wildflowers.
Yalgorup Country Lodge is nestled right up against Yalgorup National Park, excellent for walking, sightseeing, photography, birdwatching and fishing. Go for a walk on the walk-trails at Lake Hayward and Lake Preston, or enjoy a picnic with the excellent barbecue facilities available there. Within a three minute drive of the lodge is Lake Clifton, famous for its' rock-like structures known as Thrombolites.
Like the famous Stromatolites of Shark Bay, the thrombolites are built of micro-organisms, and resemble the earliest forms of life on Earth. A boardwalk, together with information boards, has been erected by CALM to make viewing easier for the visitor. Adjacent to the Thrombolites is Cape Bouvard Winery. Set in beautiful surroundings with views towards the Lake, it is the ideal place to go and sample some of our local wines and ports.Take one of our bikes or just stroll down to explore the Estuary, a playground for fishing and crabbing. You might even meet some of the local dolphins. Guests are welcome to take our scoop nets to try their luck at crabbing, and we do not mind cooking up their catch ! Community Outdoor Heated Pool, Fireplace, No Smoking, Swimming, No Pets Allowed, Lake, Ceiling Fans, Patio, Garden View
