New A-Frame Cabin -Panoramic Long Range Views, Windows Galore! Gated mountain getaway with panoramic long range views and contemporary flair. This A-Frame vacation retreat sits on 5 1/2 Acres with a Creek, sweeping deck and sky-high windows capturing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.Our mountain home is sure to please you. The living areas are situated on the main floor, where a soaring ceiling rises above the living room and a gas fireplace, a large chaise lounge. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper for additional guests, an ancient glass top grape vine root coffee table from the Santa Rosa Vineyard ties it all together. Large 3 seat theater couch faces the big screen TV, you can watch the moon rise while watching your favorite show, Our kitchen is stocked for a large family, with beautiful dinning wares and complete cooking utensils, and all small applainces,with an eat in bar for 4 and a dining table for 6, there is also a patio table for 4, just off the kitchen, all adjoins the living room and porches BBQ Grill,. Washer/dryer on main floor. Also, situated on the main floor, are the master bedroom, TV, w/walk-in closet and a well designed full bathroom. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms w/queen pillow top beds with luxury bedding (2 bed high air beds available if needed). One bedroom offers a viewing deck while the other offers extra seating and a TV. The shared full bathroom with bathtub /shower and large soft towels. To get away from it all, enjoy the loft area extended views of the Blue Ridge Mountain tops. Two large French doors open to the basement, to bring the outside in. We have a full size Refrigerator and a washer and dryer, as well as the one on the main floor. This large vacation style A-frame makes a wonderful escape at an affordable price. (Basement unfinished to date) There is so much to do in Wilkes County and around us. Popular North Carolina Ski Resorts-30-40 min. Appalachian Ski Mtn-Family, 12 slopes including 2 terrain parks serviced by 1 double chairlift, two quad chairlifts, two conveyor lifts (new in 2010) and one handle-pull lift. Hawks nest Golf & Ski Resort-Day and night skiing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, largest snow tubing park on the east coast. Ski Beech-Ski resorts. Night skiing is offered. Sugar Mountain Ski Resor-largest- With ski slopes, a terrain park, ice skating, tube park, snowshoeing, Grandfather, Boone, Mayberry, and many more mountain ridges, off in the distance, and they go around us, beautiful to see. Old town is adorable, and so much to do. We love to find the waterfalls around here, there are so many, and the hiking is endless. I love horses; we have 39 Horseback Riding and full service stables within 30 min. 3-wheel and bike, and rock climb. Wilkes county fun history: the town 'motto' is-''FROM SHINE TO WINE'' Moonshine that is/was. And were the original home of NASCAR. The story goes: The town of was given the moniker “moonshine capital of America” The business of making moonshine was coupled with the secret transportation of the illegal Liquor, from Wilkes County to markets across the Southeast. Highway 421 was the major moonshine transportation. Over 700 people in Wilkes County hauling were whiskey. A bootlegger’s hopped-up car could exceed 115 mph and they inserted special springs and shocks to help make sharp turns at fast speeds. When these cars were not being used to haul whiskey, drivers would race for a cash prize. First there was the dirt race track, and then came the N. Wilkesboro Speedway, the original home of NASCAR! The most successful early racer at NWS was life-long local resident Junior Johnson. Payment Policy: All rates are in US Dollars:VISA,MC,AX,DISC,Paypal,are accepted: Business/Personal/Cashiers-checks to be paid in full 20 days of arrival. 50% of the rental fee and a signed rental contract for confirmation must be received within 3 days of making reservation. Plus-Damage/travel Insurance $49.00/$3500.00 coverage, Cleaning Fee $125.00 and 7.0% NC Sales Tax - to be paid in full prior to check in. Cancellation Policy: All reservations sales are final. If you must cancel your reservations, please call Sheri 305-797-5641 immediately. There is a $50.00 Cancellation fee. If I can re-book the property for the same dates, I will refund you your advanced rents, minus the $50.00 fee. If the property fails to rebook, then you forfeit your entire advanced payments. Rules: CHECK IN: check in is 3:00 PM. CHECK OUT: check out time is 11:00AM, on the scheduled date of departure. IF extra time is desired please present your request as soon as possible, this will depend on the new tenants scheduled arrival and the Housekeepers schedule. Please remove all food stuffs and trash to the Trash Bens in the basement. If you have any dirty dishes please load and start the dishwasher. Lock the doors and windows, and return the keys to the lock box. There is a $10.00 fee for missing keys. Please do not turn the heat off in the winter. Turn off the Fireplace.
