Ideally situated on a quiet lane between Bayeux and the coast, both just five miles away. Local food shopping is available about two miles from the house whilst Bayeux has a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants. There are many historical sights to explore in the region including the D Day landing beaches, war museums and of course the famous Bayeux tapestry. Fishing, tennis, golf and horse riding are all available within five miles and the surrounding countryside is a real delight for nature lovers and walkers. This old farmhouse, used during the resistance, has been beautifully restored to provide a comfortable holiday house with many original features. Set in a lovely large garden, dotted with trees with a large swimming pool (11x5.5m, 28/05-30/09, can be heated at extra cost), courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue and an adjoining barn with table tennis, children's table football and darts. Children's bicycles are available on request. There are lots of barns and grounds to explore with cows, sheep, chickens, geese and a donkey as neighbours. The property is completely enclosed and there is plenty of space for parking.
