For more than 30 years, we have been welcoming guests at our apartments at the Goldener Hahn („Golden Rooster“) in Baiersbronn to enjoy and explore the beauty of Germany’s Black Forest. We proudly present our newest accommodations – Goldener Hahn Residence. The new apartments at the Goldener Hahn Residence allow guests a panoramic view of Baiersbronn and the surroundings. Baiersbronn is a paradise for gourmets: there is a total of six Michelin stars united in Baiersbronn, and one of the restaurants in Baiersbronn (“Traube”) is one of the Top Ten restaurants worldwide (according to the International Herald Tribune).
The landscape here is the setting for one of the most beautiful vacation spots in the heart of Europe. Please find below all the information that you require: The Goldener Hahn Our 3 buildings stammhaus, Appartementhaus and Landhaus which are connected by a corridor are located at 72 Oberdorfstr. in the old centre of Baiersbronn. Our indoor swimming pool and sauna are located in the "Landhaus", where we can also arrange a cosmetic or massage treatment for our guests.
The property also boasts a large garden with playground and playhouse. Nearby are several restaurants, which serve breakfast and other meals. You will also find a small grocer, butcher, bakery, and a nice pub within walking distance. The Residence building is situated ten minutes away from the main complex with a magnificent panoramic view of Baiersbronn and the surrounding area. These apartments are non-smoking, pets are also not allowed. All apartments feature: shower/bath, toilet, TV. Lots of thoughtful little touches to make you feel at home. In the fully equipped kitchen of your apartment you will find a hob (with two or four hotplates), refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, enough pots and pans, tableware and tea towels. There are no ovens in the apartments. Microwaves are available but you must book, as supply is limited. Towels and bed linen will be provided in the apartments by us. Babysitting by arrangement. Repudiation by customer (cancellation, annulment)/ failure to use Hotel Services(No Show))
1. Cancellation by the customer of the contract concluded with the hotel requires the hotel’s written consent. If such is not given, then the price agreed in the contract must be paid even if the customer does not avail himself of the contractual services. This shall not apply with the breach of obligation of the hotel to take into account the rights, objects of legal protection and interests of the customer, if holding to the contract is no longer reasonable or another statutory or contractual cancellation right exists.
2. To the extent the hotel and customer agreed in writing upon a date for a cost-free cancellation of the contract, the customer may cancel the contract up to that date without incurring payment or damage compensation claims by the hotel. The customer’s right of cancellation shall expire if he does not exercise his cancellation right in writing vis-à-vis the hotel by the agreed date, insofar as no cancellation case pursuant to Item clause IV, No. 1, sentence 3 supra exists.
3. If rooms are not used by the customer, the hotel must credit the income from renting the rooms to other parties and also for saved expenses. If the rooms are not otherwise rented, the hotel can demand the contractually agreed rate and assess a flat rate for the saved expenses of the hotel. In this case, the customer is obligated to pay at least 90 % of the contractually agreed rate for lodging with or without breakfast, 70 % for room and half-board, and 60 % for room and full board arrangements. The customer is at liberty to show that the above-mentioned claim was not created or not created in the amount demanded. Rules:

1. The customer does not acquire the right to be provided specific rooms.
2. Reserved rooms are available to the customer starting at 3:00 p.m. on the agreed arrival date. The customer does not have the right to earlier availability.
3. Rooms must be vacated and made available to the hotel no later than 9.30 am on the agreed departure date. After that time, on the grounds of the delayed vacating of the room for use exceeding the contractual time, the hotel may charge 50 % of the full accommodation rate (list price) for the additional use of the room until 2:00 p.m. (after 2:00 p.m.: 100 percent). Contractual claims of the customer shall not be established hereby. The customer is at liberty to prove that the hotel incurred no or much lesser claim to use damages.
