Modern Villa, Private Pool in Traditional Languedoc Village Near Med in Beziers Villa Raquel is a modern, spacious three bedroom villa located in the traditional French village of Nissan-Lez-Ensérune, just ten minutes from Beziers and fifteen minutes from the Med. The villa is situated just two minutes walk from the village square. The secluded garden is 1200m² and surrounded by an 8ft wall with lockable gates. Within is a private 8m x 4m swimming pool with a retractable cover. The pool utilities an automated salt chlorination system which is better for your skin and hair and prevents red eyes. Part of the garden is decked with an outdoor dining table suitable for alfresco dining for ten.

There's also an outdoor table tennis table and a chimney style barbecue. The living room has two comfortable sofas. There is a television that receives British channels, a DVD player and an Xbox with games. The indoor dining area comfortably seats six. The kitchen is well appointed and the three bedrooms are tastefully decorated. A cot is also available. There is a shower room and separate WC. Nissan-Lez-Ensérune is situated between Béziers and Narbonne. The village is five minutes from the beautiful Canal du Midi and fifteen minutes from the Med beaches. It is surrounded by vineyards and is a typical Languedoc village, with restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a traditional street market Tue, Thu & Sat mornings. Nearby is the town of Beziers (10 minutes), with the picture-postcard Cathedral rising above the river and the old-town full of shops, boutiques and restaurants.

Vineyards dominate the landscape in the hills around Beziers. Choose between the lively beach resorts of Valras Plage (15 minutes) and Cap D'Agde (30 minutes) or the sedate beaches of Vendres and Fluery (both 15 minutes). Bénodet is one of the most fashionable seaside resorts in Brittany . The town is home to a casino, a thalassotherapy, cinema, a marina , hotels and a few beaches. As with many coastal towns in Brittany , there are many second homes in the town, the population increasing sixfold over the summertime. Bénodet is also home to menhirs and a church named after Brigid of Kildare, a 5th century Irish saint; which was built at the end of the 11th century and classed as a historic monument in 1916. The town is home to the Tri Martolod brewery.
