GENERAL PROPERTY INFORMATIONS Lovely house in the grounds of an organic vineyard Position: The village of Cazouls les Beziers is just over 2 miles away, with basic shops, restaurant, café and tennis courts. There are many pretty villages in the area, many of them on the banks of the Canal du Midi, where you can walk or cycle along the tow-path and some where you can hire boats by the hour or day. Beziers, for more extensive shopping is about seven miles away and the long sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are about half an hours drive. Plenty of vineyards to visit in the area. The house is in the grounds of the working wine estate. It is built on a slope so that the swimming-pool (11x5m, 12/03-22/10) is set below the house and has a pool house/summer kitchen with gas cooker, old fridge for drinks and barbecue. Shower and separate wc. Garden furniture and sun beds. Up steps is another terrace on the same level as the house.

Bénodet is one of the most fashionable seaside resorts in Brittany . The town is home to a casino, a thalassotherapy, cinema, a marina , hotels and a few beaches. As with many coastal towns in Brittany , there are many second homes in the town, the population increasing sixfold over the summertime. Bénodet is also home to menhirs and a church named after Brigid of Kildare, a 5th century Irish saint; which was built at the end of the 11th century and classed as a historic monument in 1916. The town is home to the Tri Martolod brewery.
