In the heart of the enchanting medieval village of Arqua Petrarca a charming apartment in a lovely, historical stone house awaits your arrival. Just a short distance from Venice, your private home away from home lies sequestered in a quiet hamlet where the poet Francesco Petrarca made his home for the last years of his life. Enjoy the warm hospitality of an old family house, explore the magnificent Veneto region and enjoy day trips to the vibrant, romantic city of Venice. The apartment looks out onto a quiet courtyard and every morning you will wake to the sound of silence accompanied by an occasional church bell resonating in the distance. Walk a few stone stairs to the first floor and you will discover a charming entryway and a window with a view overlooking the surrounding region. The living room is lovingly furnished with locally crafted furniture including a double sofa bed.
