L'Alba Cottage: Self Catering Cottage Romance is the word, cosy, imaginative, creative… all words that could be used to describe this super cottage for two. Incidentally cosy is not a code word for small! This is a perfectly proportioned cottage on two floors designed to show the best of this 18c stone building combined with high tech modern comforts. Luxurious would be another word that springs to mind.
Entering into the cottage through split, stable, half glazed doors, you enter into the sitting room with sofa and coffee table and the most gorgeous and creatively designed fire place you ever had the pleasure of laying your eyes on. Nothing missing, TV DVD and iPOD dock, all present and correct. At the back of the room there is a small but perfectly formed kitchen with hob and oven, sink and fridge, work tops in basalt.
Going up the wooden stairs running you hand along the hand crafted wrought iron hand rail you find yourself in the most airy of rooms with a large double bed. Unique en-suite shower room with glazed brick wall surrounding the shower, again the basalt is in the shower room with elegant basin set into it. Definitely a little piece of heaven….
