Villa Poseidon: Charming Vacation Villa in Alonissos INTERIOREntering into the large open plan living room which is simply, but comfortably furnished, this vacation villa in Alonissos, Greece has a country atmosphere. There is a corner fireplace, satellite TV and lots of windows facing the wonderful views to the beach and sea beyond. There is an expansive, covered veranda only a few steps from the sea. Off of the living area is a well-equipped, open plan kitchen with wooden cupboards and a dining area. Also on the ground level there is a w/c shower room and a bedroom with double bed and sea facing windows.

A steep wooden staircase leads to the second level bedroom which is furnished with double bed, en-suite toilet with wash basin and French doors leading to a fantastic balcony overlooking the sea. This rare and beautiful setting above the sea is the perfect spot for relaxing with a good book or unwinding with a glass of wine whilst the summer sun slowly slips away.

EXTERIORVilla Poseidon is set at the far end of Babakies Beach and is reached from the coastal road by foot on a narrow path through an olive grove (approx 100m). The villa is very private and stands just above the beach with no close neighbours. The best features of Villa Poseidon are the outdoor spaces and the great verandas with the sea and beach so close at hand. The views are uninterrupted and stunning of the coastline, the village of Kalamakia and across the sea to the island of Peristera.

SURROUNDINGSThe drive to Kalamakia is only a few minutes from the villa, and the Village of Steni Vala about 10 minutes drive. Steni Vala is the most picturesque fishing village on the island and a must-see for most visitors to Alonissos.
