La Maison Blanc.A traditional old stone Cottage The cottage is 3 bedroom, 2 double and 1 single, has a fully equipped modernised kitchen with oven, hob, micro-wave, fridge etc.and a breakfast area, a lounge/diner with dining suite, 3 piece Lounge suite including double bed/settee, T.V. video,DVD, radio, bookcase with books and videos. The bathroom has a full size bath and a vanity hand basin unit, the toilet is separate with also a built in shower, the utility room contains the water heater a washing machine an iron etc.There is a large attic/games room with many table games and below the property extensive cellars, we have terraces front and back with a gas bar-b-q. The property is situated in a small Cul-de-sac so parking by the back door is no problem. It is possible to walk from the back door, straight into the Cevennes where they boast over 4000 Trails including the one taken by Robert Louis Stevenson with his donkey Modistine in 1878 which can be traced, panning for gold in the Ceze river is another relaxing passtime as well as fishing in the Ganiere just a few hundred meters away.At our home, just 5 mins. away we have a large covered swimming pool which can be used by prior arrangement. along with a charcoal Bar-B-Q and 2 acres of garden or if you prefer there are many pic-nic spots beside the Ganiere and the Ceze rivers where you can swim in clear fresh water.Modern supermarkets are only minutes away, plus street markets in a different local town every day. In season there are concerts and fetes in one village or another, mostly free. Eating out is no problem with many restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. From a' plat de jour' at 8 euros to a 5 course gastronomic delight with 5 different wines for 80 euros at the Chateau de Potelieres.
