Albion Bed and Breakfast in Southern Idaho is perfect for a romantic getaway or a cozy overnight with the family on your way to the mountains. Conveniently located just one block from the center of the village of Albion, with free parking. At Albion Bed and Breakfast you can do what your heart desires. From skiing, hiking, biking, climbing, fishing or just reading and relaxing; there are endless possibilities!
If you have chosen to stay in one of our Rooms, a free continental breakfast is included. Each of our three Suites has a private kitchen for personally preparing your meals, or you may request a contintental breakfast for a small fee.
Originally this building was used for new teachers to practice the teaching arts. We have remodeled some of the space into Suites and turned the spacious classrooms into private bedrooms. For our amusement (and yours!) we have named them after school subjects.
The Principal's Suite: In this spacious suite you can relax in the comfortable living room with its cozy sofas & Amish style electric fireplace. There is a charming dining area and an extra large kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator and microwave. The bedroom easily fits a king size bed with dresser, end tables and a few chairs. The bathroom is extra large with beautiful tile work and a combination tub/shower. This suite has its own private entry.
The Biology Suite: This light filled suite, with its semi-private entry, has a spacious living/dining room, with electric fireplace. The kitchen features the original cast iron sink, plus refrigerator, microwave and hot plate. The bedroom has a queen size bed and adjacent private bathroom with shower. A mix of furnishings, including some vintage pieces, fill this suite.
The Science Studio: Large windows face north toward the old Albion campus in this charming studio. The combined living room/bedroom is furnished with an eclectic mix, including an electric fireplace. The separate dining and kitchen area includes a fridge, microwave and hot plate. The private bathroom includes a shower. There is a semi-private entry into this studio.
For those who are looking for a more authentically "historic" experience at Albion Guest House, consider one of our classrooms, which have been remodeled into attractive bedrooms. These rooms contain sections of the original chalkboards with teachers notes still clearly legible, vintage maps, a variety of teaching materials, or other memorabilia.
The Arts & Crafts Room: In this room the local seniors made quilts and other crafts. It has a mix of vintage furnishings, including a full-size bed, a twin bed, a dresser and an original student desk. We have preserved the unique "party-colored" patchwork style carpeting. In keeping with olden times, the bathroom is down the hall. For your comfort and convenience there is an electric fireplace and a mini-fridge.
The Geography Room: This spacious room, with 13 foot high ceilings, has four large windows that face the setting sun. The furnishings are a mix of vintage pieces including a queen-size bed, and a full-size bed, an antique dresser, and an original student's work table. As a modern touch, there is an electric fireplace and a mini-fridge.
The History Room: This cozy room is furnished with an antique full-size bed and small vintage dresser. Two large windows face north towards a picturesque view of the original Albion campus. There is a mini-fridge for your convenience and an electric fireplace for your comfort. The bathroom is just a few steps down the hall.
The Math Room: This room has large northern facing windows, with a beautiful view of the original Albion campus. Furnishings include a full-size bed and secretary-dresser, an electric fireplace and a mini-fridge.
The Advanced Math Room: This is the same Math Room as mentioned above with the added feature of a private
