Anglais: The small family park of 'l'Espinette' is beautifully situated on the edge of the Ardennes forest, in the Ourthe river valley. The bungalows can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons and offer you the choice of a flat on the ground floor or on the 1st floor. Only 3 km away is the small town of Hotton where you will find all the necessary shops and restaurants and the 'beach' on the banks of the Ourthe. The park is particularly suitable for families with young children, but also serves as an excellent starting point for many adventurous activities. The holiday park has an outdoor swimming pool with separate children's area. There are many sports facilities in the park: two tennis courts, mini-golf, badminton, table tennis, playground and a playroom for the children. There is also a tavern (open in July and August) at the swimming pool with a large terrace and a DSL provider (fast wireless Internet outdoors!). In the neighborhood of the park there is a wide range of sporting activities including mountain climbing, rappelling, Death Ride, mountain biking, horseback riding, quad biking, kayaking, rafting, paintball and several marked hiking trails. Anglais: The picturesque village of Ny is a quiet place (150 inhabitants) near the well-known town of Hotton (4 km). In this area, where the Ourthe meets the Aisne, you can picture the Ardennes as a series of wooded valleys, fast flowing rivers, and small steep cliffs which, from time to time, are adorned with a castle. A visit to the sights in the area will certainly not be disappointing. The l'Espinette holiday park is especially recommended for families with young children. The park is restricted to pedestrian traffic only- cars must be left at the parking lot behind the park, thus children can safely enjoy the facilities which include an open-air pool, mini-golf, a playground and an indoor play area. In addition, on foot you can easily reach the 'Land van Ny' and in Hotton you will find a large children's playground as well as the beach on the banks of the Ourthe. Further proposals: the playground 'Chez Grand-Père' in Barvaux with indoor and outdoor activities for (young) children; the Park 'Chlorophylle' in Dochamps, where you can explore the forest in an original way and drive through the water world, accompanied by various educational activities; take a tram through the Aisnetal in Erezée or Houtopia; and child city in Houffalize. In July and August the park serves as a starting point for various sports activities with professional accompaniment. The area around the holiday park will surprise you with its numerous attractions. For example, you can visit the village of Ny which is one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia; the caves of Hotton (5 km) or the 'Caves of a Thousand and One Nights' with their magnificent stalactites (guided tours); and in the village of 'Wéris', only 7 km from the park, you will find the 'Stonehenge' of the Ardennes.
