Anglais: This spacious accommodation is part of a small-scale apartment complex in the town of Alanya, on the Turkish Riviera. This is where you’ll find Turkey’s most beautiful, kilometers’ long sandy beaches. In recent years Alanya has grown into one of the most important tourist destinations in Turkey. Thanks to its subtropical climate, more and more tourists are coming here, even in winter. The port area is always lively and crowded in the evening, with countless small restaurants and bars that Alanya is rich in. High up on the rocks, overlooking Alanya, there is a gigantic castle beautifully lit up at night. On both sides of the long promenade, and in the old center, you will find plenty of small shops, including leather goods, souvenirs and little supermarkets. Life is bubbling here during the high season. Alanya's sandy beaches are partly covered with fine shingles and chesil. Further away in the sea there are pebble stones and boulders lying on the rocky bottom. In some places the beach is broken up by riverbeds running into the sea. There are facilities for renting chaise-lounges and parasols. Showers, toilets, changing cubicles and about 25 different beach bars are situated here as well.Disponibilités

Anglais: Alanya is one of the most popular resorts on the Turkish Riviera. This cheerful town with a dazzling nightlife is famous for its beautiful beaches, castle and splendid location among citrus plantations. Alanya lies at the foot of a stately cliff and is situated exactly between two beaches (Cleopatra Beach and the Eastern Beach). Enthroned high up on the cliff is the 13th century castle of the Seljuks, one of the most magnificent monuments in this part of the Mediterranean. The castle is relatively well preserved and has kilometers’ long walls and 150 towers. Next to the impressive castle you will find a remarkable shipyard and the Kizil Kule (red tower, an octagonal 33 m high tower that served as a corner tower for the fortress, built between 1225-1227). The town has currently about 35,000 inhabitants. It is a lovely resort with numerous restaurants, hotels and cafes along the beach. In the center you can enjoy to the full the “Turkish‿ way of shopping, visiting countless boutiques along the promenade that are filled with souvenirs, leather goods, jewels, handbags and painted gourds – the symbol of the area. The Dimcayi is a river close to Alanya. Here you can have a lovely picnic at one of the wood cabins of the numerous restaurants or take a refreshing plunge in the river. In the hottest months this is a great place to cool off. Not far from the Dimcayi River there is a wonderful natural cave with stalagmites and stalactites. Many organized excursions stop at the river for lunch. Most boat trips follow the route around the peninsula of Alanya, past the old shipyard, the pirate, phosphor and love cave and then along the coast in the direction of the small village of Incekum. It is quite blissful to relax and sunbathe on board taking an occasional swim in the sea. Do you consider yourself to be a lucky person? Then you are bound to meet dolphins. The Dimcayi River, only six kilometers away from the center of Alanya, rises into the Taurus Mountains and after 60 km flows into the Mediterranean Sea. The river water stays cool not only in winter so you are guaranteed a refreshing plunge on hot summer days as well. There are various picturesque picnic spots along the banks of the river. You can even be served directly in the water where they also place tables and chairs. At about 12.5 km from an estuary you will find a fantastic rafting place.- En ligne depuis: 2010-04-16
