Zell has a century old tradition of hospitality. In 1482 an envoy traveling from Italy to Salzburg recommended a good inn in Zell!

Zell am Ziller is the first entry into the large ski area Zillertal Arena. 165 slopes and 51 modern lifts from 1,300 m to 2,505 m altitude inspire from early December to Easter. Numerous huts, snow bars and après-ski bars invite you to stop!

The 45.000 m² Leisure Park boasts 3 indoor tennis courts, a skating rink, a modern sports bowling alley and a restaurant-café overlooking the surrounding mountains.

But skiing is not all there is to do. You might feel like getting some exercise by going sledding, ice hokey, going on winter walks or a snowshoe hike through the snow-covered mountains in the Zillertal.
