Built in 1998, this 720 sf. cabin borders the Great Smoky Mountain National Forest and boasts over 400 sf. of screened-in porch, complete with hot tub for your ultimate relaxation. You will enjoy high cathedral ceilings with a two-story glass window front, a cozy living, dining and kitchen area complete with full sized appliances, including all the amenities to complete a delicious meal for two or more. Dishwasher, icemaker, washer and dryer included. Not to mention the comfy queen bed and whirlpool awaiting you for a romantic day's end.

Come join us! Within walking distance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park boundary line, this unique cabin sits up high making you feel like 'king of the mountain'up where the eagles fly. Actually just a couple of geese, playfully named 'Ned' and 'Jed,' by a couple of our awe-stricken, repeat guests. They make their trek daily taking the route of the river bed across the way each morning. Listen and you'll hear them 'conversing' as they fly over. Or just stand on your spacious balcony with the Little Mountain in the distance and marvel at the 'smoke' boiling over the tall range, thus giving the Great Smokey Mountains their name... awesome!

In a small, peaceful town like ours, you may have to 'settle' for laid back activities such as hiking, horseback riding, touring the magnificent Smokies, spelunking, geocaching, naturist sightseeing, bluegrass, daylily and old-timer craft festivals, and the most popular being riding a tube for hours on end! The Little River runs the entire length of Townsend and we are proud to have a three mile bike/walking trail ... lighted! A new and very popular arrival to our little town is the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center and I'll see that you get FREE tickets to tour, just ask! Ahhhh.... relaxation for a change! Need a bit more action? 'Bearfoot 2' and Townsend are only 18 miles from the ever popular Gatlinburg including Ober Gatlinburg ski resort, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, known to be a shopper's paradise with all the outlet malls, etc. Stage shows, music theaters, fine dining, action and more action.
