During the renovation of the house the traditional architecture was maintained while all the comforts and conveniences of the modern times were added, including a nice pool. The ground floor of the house has two double bedrooms and one double bedroom with a private bathroom (plus the possibility of adding extra beds). On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a reading room. The accommodation has central heating and access to a television, telephone and internet. The former granary, now connected to the original house, integrates a large common room and kitchen. From the lounge you have access to the „eira‿ (threshing floor) which provides opportunities in summer for outdoor dining and recreation. The „eira‿ also gives access to the pool, the old granary and alembic .

Getting there
This holiday home is situated in the heart of the Alto Minho region, near the beautiful beaches of Portugal. Of course if you prefer, you can refresh yourself in the pool of the house. The accommodation consists of two parts: the original house and an old granary, now adapted to housing. The house sits on a plot of terraced vineyards and from the pool you have a nice panoramic view of the striking silhouette of the Senhor do Socorro sanctuary. The accommodation is located in the parish of Lambruja, which is best known for its Church of the Lord of Socorro, where big festivals are held each year on the first Saturday and Sunday of July. Apart from its natural vocation as a housing unit, the accommodation also makes an excellent base for exploring a remarkable network of trails/routes which meander their way through the mountains and valleys of the Serra D'Arga and Peneda,Gerês National Park.
