Sandveld Country Lodge The superb and immaculate Lodge features a lounge with gorgeous stone fireplace, dining room, pub, fully fitted kitchen, guest cloak, four spacious en-suite bedrooms, each with double doors opening to the large wrap-around veranda with panoramic views, beautiful terraced gardens, a sparking pool, paved entertainment area with braai facilities, and four carports.
The lodge is imminently suitable, and highly recommended for a wide range of corporate and team-building activities.The helipad is conveniently situated to drop guests and friends on the doorstep, and from there it is for guests to decide how lazy or energetic they want their stay to be.
With the veranda overlooking the pool, a game enclosure, and spectacular surrounds, you may decide to stay put. However, the unforgettable views and fresh air may well give you a taste to find what there is to do beyond relaxing and drinking in the vistas of one of Africa’s beautiful areas!
The estate is on a working farm where guests can experience real Africa with genuine small little San people working there. There is no tourist facade guests are exposed to the real thing. We have a farm dance/function barn where families have amazing parties and celebrations. The nearest neighbor is 3km away and the 2nd nearest is 10km away.
The estate has 500ha of wild mountains where guests can hike. There are leopards, baboons, caracal cats, ant-bears and many other wild animals there, but its safe these animals are not a threat to humans.
We have 2 lovely riding horses but we do not give riding lessons, the riding is do-it-yourself. We are 10km from Verloren Vlei which is the longest estuary in South Africa. Our rates are about 50% or less of what you will pay at the larny lodges but our lodge and cottage resort is not just an expensive tourist trap.
