Tucked away in the foothills of Chalong bay is a Thai/South African/Australian family that runs a guesthouse offering affordable accommodation, award-winning restaurant specializing in vegetarian, Thai & seafood and a western menu.
Our family owned and operated business is situated in Ao Chalong, approx 1.5 km south of the famous Wat Chalong Temple, Shanti Phuket offers an escape from the busy beaches to the tranquility of being in a lush tropical garden or relax around the salt water swimming pool.
We are on the local bus route to access to the beaches. We offer a wide range in price and style of accommodation, a child friendly swimming pool, with wheel chair access. Our in-house masseuses specializes in Herbal Spa , or Traditional Thai Style body work. Our restaurant is renowned not only for its for its extensive vegetarian menu but also for quality seafood and meats for those who prefer.
For yoga enthusiasts we have a tree top balcony over looking the pool for you to stretch out in. For book lovers our library is constantly growing and we offer a free book exchange for novels. If you wish to spend your time in Phuket in a very laid back, chill sort of environment, where our home becomes yours, then Shanti Phuket was designed for you.
Traditional Style Room :
Bamboo and Teak : In true Thai style of woven bamboo and tropical hard woods, these rooms are designed to cater to the budget minded, or to small groups traveling together. However maybe you just prefer the authentic traditional style. These rooms are large and spacey, can accommodate up to 4 people, with a double bed and two singles so they also make ideal family rooms. Hot water Showers are outside the rooms and kept spotless. We take great pride in our bathrooms through put Shanti.
Garden Room :
Experience a mini tropical jungle as you step out of your room. Each room features a double bed with single fold away, cable TV and DVD machine, Mini bar fridge, and a hammock for you to laze around in. Your private out door, Bali style bathroom, equipped with hot water shower and western toilet, is an experience few forget.
Andaman Room :
More modern in design, yet still maintaining the tropical Asian experience. These rooms feature a double bed and cable TV. Each bathroom is beautiful and unique, with its hanging gardens of plants and orchids.

Traditional Style rooms are easily converted to family room. A double bed with 2 singles. The room is spacious enough for a 3rd single mattress to be brought in.
