Getting there
Situated half way between Bollène and Orange, north of the department. Easy access to the A7 motorway. Mornas spreads at the foot of a large rock. The little village has retained some of its heritage.
Environment : In a quiet setting, surrounded by countryside and other villas.
PLACES TO VISIT:
Orange. 15 km. City of art and history, Orange boasts an exceptional historical heritage including its famous Antique Theatre built in the early days of Christianity, and now listed as a monument of the world. The attractive old city with narrow streets, well restored facades and ancient shady squares will delight all visitors.
Pont St Esprit. 15 km. Majestic town on the banks of the Rhone river and gateway to Provence.
Bollène. 15 km. Interesting ancient city with a rich history, built around a low hill near the Donzère-Mondragon canal.
Vaison la Romaine. 35 km. Picturesque city with little shady squares, ancient doorways, and narrow cobbled streets dotted with superb fountains but also highly interesting from an archaeological point of view with many Roman remains.

Avignon. 40 km City of history and city of theatre, the fortified city of Avignon marked by papal history will charm you with its ancient streets, spectacular monuments and museums and impressive number of cafes and restaurants. Its famous bridge still stands over the Rhone river.
Carpentras. 40 km. A real treat to all lovers of history and architecture thanks to its wealth of history and also famous for its Friday morning colourful market which attracts people from all over the region.
St Rémy de Provence. 65 km. As picturesque and Provencal as can be, with narrow winding streets, shady squares, fantastically old fountains, elegant shops, art galleries and plenty of bars and restaurants. The village and surrounding countryside has inspired many artists including Van Gogh who produced more than 150 paintings of the area. Also birthplace of Nostradamus.
Nîmes. 65 km. On the border between Provence and Languedoc, the city boasts some of the most extensive Roman remains in Europe. Famous for its arena, the best preserved amphitheatre of the Roman era built under Emperor Augustus in the 1st century A.D.
