Farm Trigna : In the central Location of Calabria With Views In the central location of Calabria: the Tirreno sea only 3 Km far, and the Jonic sea reachable in less than 30 minutes, is located the Agriturismo “Trigna” in the Lamezia Terme plain. “Two minutes from the World...light years from stress”, this sentence is rightly summarizing life and spirit of our farm, offers to its guests a deep sensation of relax and peace and from frenzy daily life.

The farm is centrally located near the airport, the central station, and the highway (A3-SA/RC). The estate has been an exist from the 8th century, received high awards for cultivation of rice and breading of life stock. Our dishes are simple, part of calabrian tradition. We use mostly our primary products, vegetables, meat, cheese, fruit. Thanks to oranges and eucalyptus blooming bees are producing honey.

We have 11 rooms, 3 of these are double room (can keep 4 people each), 1 is a suite with fireplace, 1 has a small kitchen and can keep till 3 persons.All rooms are available with bathrooms, independent entrance, SOLARIUM, fridge use, laundry use, heating.

There’s also a small white house with fireplace, small kitchen, fridge and bathrooms. Our rooms have name of flowers available in our farm: poppy, iris, blackberry, violet… Rooms have nice furnishings, some with period furniture, others with simple and natural furnishings.

Farm is located in a central location for the Region, all places are easy to reach. Sea and mountains are near. We’d like to suggest some cultural, gastronomical and religious itineraries. Several sea itineraries are available for tourists. 741 km long seashore touched by Tirreno and Jonio seas. Long sand beaches separated by reef and rock.

Touristy farm offers several services to his guests. Wide spaces for sporty people to ride of use our bicycles, or learn riding horses or again playing football in our playground. You can use our sauna or our swimming pool with massage to have relax. Moreover, we use to teach farm way of living with our initiative: Farm School. We have also a wide and bright lecture hall, available for about 100 guests.

Lamezia Terme, was born as the fusion of 3 towns, Nicastro, Sambiase and S.Eufemia. Sea and mountains are a characteristic of this territory, climate is typically Mediterranean. Nicastro has Byzantine origins and had grown with Northman and Svevy. Nineteenth-century Numistrano main street: in the place once used for fairs. Close to it the small Umberto theatre better known as Pidocchietto, once used as the Rosario (Rosary) oratory brotherhood.

You can visit and old rural house with art and craft of old calabrian life, close to 1000 objects of common life joined by thematic interest in seven rooms (bedroom, kitchen, craftsmanship, farm works) and a small library. Caronte thermal baths: thermal spring gush out between S. Elia and Muzzari mountains. Already known during the Roman Age, in the recent period a thermal bath has been made establishment.
