Rock Lodge is a delightful cottage one mile from Kenmare, County Kerry. With three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single, as well as a futon bed in the mezzanine reading area, it sleeps six comfortably. There is also two shower rooms, a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove, as well as the mezzanine reading area. Outside, the garden surrounds the house, and there is off road parking for three cars. With Kenmare so close, Rock Lodge is a great cottage for exploring County Kerry.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, colour TV with video player, selection of books. Fuel and power inc. in rent April - September inclusive, €30 supplement payable direct to owner October - March inclusive. Starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent all year. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Lawned garden surrounding property. One well behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: The mezzanine area is accessed by steep, ladder-like stairs, which are not suitable for young children.

Payment Policy: All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Kenmare is located at the head of Kenmare Bay sometimes called the Kenmare River (An Ribhéar) where the Roughty River (An Ruachtach) flows into the sea, and at the junction of the Iveragh Peninsula and the Beara Peninsula. The traditional Irish name of the bay was Inbhear Scéine from the celtic inver, which is recorded in the 11th Century narrative Lebor Gabála Érenn as the arrival point of the mythological Irish ancestor Partholón. It is also located near the MacGillycuddy's Reeks, Mangerton Mountain and Caha Mountains and is a popular hillwalking destination.
