Gorgeous House for 12-20 People with Private Pool Created from the old barns of a traditional Gascon farm called Borde Basse, La Grange can accommodate up to 14 people. It has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private swimming pool and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. La Grange, with over 340m² of living space, is exceptionally spacious and is well-equipped, with an attractive mixture of new and local traditional furniture and fittings. On the ground floor, there is a very large, open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. The kitchen is equipped with a built-in gas hob, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a 400-litre fridge/freezer, a microwave oven, a toaster and an electric kettle. The dining table is large enough to seat 14 people. From the kitchen, two large archways lead into the lounge, which has comfortable seating for up to 14 people and a satellite TV, a DVD player and a hi-fi stereo for tapes and CDs. A mezzanine gallery overlooks the lounge, which has a table football and two large bookcases with an excellent selection of paperback novels, local guide books, jigsaw puzzles and board games. Also downstairs, there are three bedrooms one with an en-suite shower-room and a bathroom. Upstairs there is another bathroom and three bedrooms, all with chestnut floors and lovely views of the grounds. Outside there is a terrace with comfortable seating and a large table and 14 chairs for outside dining, over an acre and a half of shady garden, a 10 by 5m swimming pool and a lovely natural pond with a small seating area . This is not only a wonderful place to relax in rural tranquility but also a perfect base from which to explore the fabulous history of this exceptional region, castles, beautiful medieval villages, romanesque churches and cathedrals, prehistoric cave paintings, river gorges and high mountains all within easy day trip reach. An extra suite of three bedrooms and a bathroom can be provided at extra cost .
