Come & Enjoy A Great Vacation Getaway Nestled in Spectacular Surroundings WELCOME TO MOONLIGHT VALLEY WILDERNESS LODGE :
We are a privately owned all season family retreat in Alberta's boreal forest, located about 35 km north of Edson, Alberta, Canada. This vacation rental home and adventure destination is situated on 160 acres of private Canadian wilderness, surrounded by millions of acres of Crown land. Once there you'll enjoy views of wilderness all around you from the spacious log lodge.
16 km of cross country skiing, hiking and mountain bike trails wind through the property. There is easy access to a network of ATV and snowmobile trails, plus great fishing, bird and wildlife watching in the area.
LODGE FACILITIES:
- 3 bedrooms each with private bathroom.
- Two of the bedrooms have a two person jacuzzi.
- Third bedroom features a single jetted tub.
- Spacious living area with large picture windows.
- Fully equipped kitchen with dining area.
- Additional small bathroom is located downstairs.
- Sitting room/library on the second floor.
- Washer/dryer, CD/stereo, VCR/DVD/TV (no television service).
- Spacious outside deck and BBQ.
You may have the private use of the entire three bedroom log lodge during your stay. The newly built lodge has 3 private bedrooms with one queen bed and private bathroom in each room. Two of the bedrooms have a two person jacuzzi tub and the third bedroom has a single jetted tub.
There is a spacious living area with large picture windows, a full kitchen with dining area, small bathroom downstairs, sitting room/library on the second floor, washer/dryer, CD/stereo, VCR/DVD/TV (no television service), outside deck and BBQ.
The lodge is surrounded by forest, where over 70 varieties of birds make their homes in summer. Sit and relax in a truly remote setting and enjoy the scenery and local wildlife.

HOW TO FIND US :
- Moonlight Valley Wilderness Lodge is located about 35 km north of Edson, Alberta. Follow Secondary Highway 748 north for 31 km and turn right (east) onto a resource road (watch for the Moonlight Valley Lodge sign). Travel for 4.5 km and turn left (north) and follow the road 1 km to the lodge.
