The heart of the Dordogne lies around Bergerac with its famous vineyards, beautiful river and cobbled streets. A central point to start your adventures and to learn about this wonderful area – whether you wish to take a cruise or canoe on the Dordogne or Isle rivers or follow the well-marked wine routes to visit the many châteaux where you can taste the excellent vintages and learn more about this ever-evolving art. Both Bergerac and Périgueux have excellent open markets selling both local and international products as well as a wide selection of bars and restaurants, many with lively entertainment. Périgueux is also a cathedral city and has an important pedestrian shopping area in the old town centre. Days out can include Sarlat, Domme, Issigeac or Les Eyzies – the choice is endless. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a tranquil holiday just sitting in a quiet garden, barbecuing the regional fare, this property is ideal.
The house is an attractive well restored farmhouse with exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings and spreads over four levels. It is in a small rural hamlet (5 houses) just 15 kms north of Bergerac and 35 kms south of Périgueux.

Payment Policy:
Rates are in Euros.
Bed linen and towels for hire at 10 Euros per person per change.
Heating: 75 Euros per week when required October to April.
Electricity and gas included.
Breakage deposit 170€.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a booking we will charge the cancellation fee set out below. The percentage of the Rental Price we charge as a cancellation fee will depend on the time left before your rental is due to start.(a) If we receive your cancellation 43 or more days (six weeks plus one day or more) before you are due to arrive, you will lose your Booking Deposit of 30% of the rental price. (b) If we receive your cancellation on any day between the 42nd day (six weeks) before the date you are due to arrive and the 29th day (four weeks plus one day) before the date you are due to arrive you will lose 50% (half) of the Rental Price. (c) If we receive your cancellation on any day including or after the 28th day before your arrival date, then you will lose 100% (all) of the Rental Price.
Rules: If you make your reservation at least six weeks before the rental period begins a Booking Deposit of 30% of the total rental cost is due at the time of the booking. The balance of the Rental Price is due no later than six weeks before the rental period begins. If we do not receive the balance of the Rental Price by that time, we will assume you have cancelled your booking. We are entitled to relet the property to other customers without contacting you again. If you reserve the property less than six weeks before the date you are due to arrive, you must pay the Rental Price in full when you make the booking.
