The inland country, featuring the ancient villages and olive groves of the Alpilles, the vineyards and mansion houses of the Pays d'Aix nestling under Sainte-Victoire mountain and the Garlaban, where Marcel Pagnol shot many of his famous films, offer all beauty of traditional Provence.
